In cases where one party accuses the other of a fraudulent claim, Trustap begins a fraud investigation. A fraud investigation is carried out independently of Trustap. In these cases, Trustap hands the details of the case to an independent arbitrator.
The independent arbitrator gathers information on the case and makes a decision. They then inform both parties, as well as Trustap, of the decision that has been made. Trustap then apportions the funds in accordance with the arbitrator’s decision.
